Virgo’s Bistro has been owned by Trudy and Adrian Ellison since December 2006, and the vision remains the same since day one: to provide delicious home cooked food, prepared from fresh, local ingredients in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Fabulous food in a small cosy cafe style restaurant. All dishes full of flavour and made with good quality ingredients. Side portions very generous including a huge bowl of delicious crispy roast potatoes. Wonderful friendly service with lots of extra touches such as chilled glass for the Prosecco and double portions of minty after dinner chocs. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic service, food was amazing and we certainly come back, can't believe we missed out on trying that place for so long.. I personally especially like the greek note and gosh have I missed and now tonight enjoyed it, Trudy was a star and made my birthday meal a memorable one xxx we will be back

You quite often find that if you make the effort to get off the main drag in places like Saltburn you find a hidden gem. Well this is one of those places. We visited today as we regularly visit the area but have never stopped in Saltburn. The beach area and the frontage was busy but we made the effort to climb up to the main town and came across this place. So pleased we did as we enjoyed some very good home cooked food, served by very friendly staff.

We'd highly recommend this bistro and would visit again next time.
